Bought some tops and decided to return one of them because I didnt like the way it fit. Had my receipt and shirt with tags still on, so when the salesman looked at the receipt and then he looked at me and said I can't scan the barcode as it is faded. He then explained to me that I shouldn't have excepted a receipt like that and he went on to ask me what hollister store did I go to and I politely told him that it was his store and he was the one that checked me out. He then told me in a not so happy voice that he would have to call customer service( which I could tell he didn't want to) so I said okay. I think he expected me to say don't bother because he then looked at me and said well it's going to take me at least 10 to 15 min., again I said that will be fine. He got on the phone not even 2 min. Of being on the phone he hangs up and says to me I can't help you. He then gives me an email address ad tells me to email customer service and maybe they can do something. My point in all this is that this is not the first time I have received a faded receipt from hollister and that maybe just maybe they should look into new paper or better ink. It's shouldn't be the customer problem. So now I have a shirt that I can't wear and $50.00 wasted. By the way the barcode was the only thing really faded. You could still see the dollar amounts for all the shirts.
