Product:	Hollister cloting store

I was gifted a hollister men's shorts . These were purchased from a Boston store. The first day I wore it, it's stitches came apart completely from the back while I tried to sit in my car. It was an embarrassing moment as happened in the middle of my vacation trip..I went to the Cleveland store for the complaint and they refused entertaining any replacement as I did not have any receipt or labels. How could I have one for a gifted shorts which I fondly wanted to wear ?
I am a regular hollister and A&F customer and this is the first time I had to argue with a customer rep which was not as pleasant as I hoped it to be
I certainly need a replacement for a defected piece hollister supplied . I did not expect such a shabby quality from hollister
